Bit of a strange one but when i got the car it didn't work (bad earth) so i spliced into the cig lighter earth my question is does yours go off when you close the boot? Mine doesn't cnt see this being a problem with the new earth as it would be a switched live not a switched earth if you het me so is it switched?
