Clubsport splitter on standard GTI?
« on: 22 September 2016, 13:24 »
Here's a thought...

Wonder if it fits and if so, how hard is it to do so?

Also, if anyone has a part number and price just for the splitter, someone might try it lol.

Get you some a that!

Sorry, just been watching Fast 'n' Loud on Discovery!

Looks like the splitter is part of a very expensive bumper assembly. This splitter is nice, though.

Looks like the spiltter fits the standard bumper, in the description for the whole thing it says "VW Golf 7 VII GTI / GTD bumper" as one of the included parts.

Who wants to try it?

Mmm, the Maxton one (linked by talk torque) is ok, but (and just my opinion) because it doesn't replace the standard corner splitters, looks a bit like "a bolt on to a bolt on". I'm looking for something that would replace the corner splitters and look nice and OEM (in fact, just like the Clubsport one, lol).

As an aside, just seen the price of the Clubsport sideskirts - 629 Euros!!

Compared to the GTI ones at around 150 Euros.
