Final note...

Another option is to use a flashair card: (ie: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-Flash-Class-Wireless-Memory/dp/B00DR590OM )

And use a cgi script :0 - done!
https://www.flashair-developers.com/en/documents/tutorials/advanced/2/

Little note, the wifiSDcard can power down, so might need an un-plug and re-plug on arrival home (or leaving). And i can't guarantee the power is enough, but should be).

Anyone got a flashair SDHC card? :P :) :)

Now that looks promising!  If you can connect to the card via a browser and create a script to rsync a folder then we're laughing... sort of.

hehe persistence!!! (Cheaper then a fruity-pod!) - just about! :P

Going back over it, and (Yup rsync was what i was thinking...).... it really does seem possible and dare i say, straightforward... (For a hack/mis-use of original intentions at least)

I suppose the use is limited to people who park pretty close to their router, but even a faint connection should show some promise :)

Hello Guys, I will be keeping an eye on this with interest as I'm keen and need to improve my tech skills and understanding, I am a bit of a technophobe and am struggling to take advantage of some of the GTi's features. :embarrassed:

Hey Buggaluggs, welcome aboard :)

If i manage to get a card - i will most certainly provide an easy A - to - B guide on how to set it up :)
Might take a while, but hopefully, if it works i can test the distance limitations etc...

(For those with garages and power, a simple wifi extender will help the rate too - anyway that's just getting expensively geeky! :P)
