I have got a mk2 16v but am looking to also get a mk2 gtd. Just wondered what they are like to drive with them being and old style deisel engine.
Anyone had any experience with them? they go ok?

A mate at the VW garage where I used to work had one and was pretty pleased with it although he did have probs with the clutch cable getting stiff as it was routed around the large intercooler ( which sits over the gearbox )
