Great cars

I had a MkV 140bhp 4 Motion for 3 years. They are GT spec so have all the usual spec. 45 mpg all day long and an excellent cruiser.

I used to love doing full bore standing starts in the rain to see what it could do. No wheel spin, it just goes. Strange sensation as the front rises and the power is fed to the rear tyres.

First gear is very short though.

In the snow it was brilliant as well.

Only cons would be that it was no sports car, more of a luke warm hatch.

Even with the 4 motion it won't see where the golf gti went.
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement
