Tablet
« on: 23 December 2013, 11:24 »
ok been thinking of getting a tablet for some time now, so im going to bite the bullet and buy one in the next few days. but unsure what to go for...

at first was thinking some form of ipad/ipad mini etc. but then thought is there much point cause most apps id download on the ipad i already have on my iphone. so then thought maybe a samsung one or something simelar, but then i wownt be able to put all my music off itunes on (well not easily) and when i buy music in future ill have to download the song as an mp3 from somewhere, import it into itunes, sync my phone then drag and drop onto the tablet.

so basically a bit unsure what to get, an apple tablet, or a samsung/other make of tablet.

what your guys opinion.

also what ipad is better, mini, 2, air, what ever else there is....

Im a bit apple biased as its what I like, ive used both android and apple products and now have iPhone and iPad, IMO they are the best, simplest to use and I never have any problems with them. Id also recommend an ipad as you already got an iPhone so they will sync nicely with the icloud for your pics, and as you said all your music is on iTunes anyways.

As far as the apps go nearly all the apps you can get on one system youll be able to get on the other, only thing is the ones you pay for you own the rights to now and can then be put on your iPad for free if you used a android you would have to purchase it again.

If you do decide you want an iPad, then your best off going for the iPad air as its the most up to date one (5th generation I believe), or the mini if you want something a bit smaller (but then just use your iPhone). I wouldn't go for the 2 as its pretty old now the only reason why I can think they still sell it is because it has the old 30pin connector.

must admit i was quite tempted by the ipad mini cause imo its the right size, have used my mates ipad 2 before and although good i think its just a little bit too big.

going to have a pop into somewhere like pc world on my way home and have a play with all the tablets see what i like.

bought an ipad mini with retina display today, tried some of the others ipad 2, ipad air etc. and just couldn't get away with them, too big for my liking.

cant fault the ipad, seems good so far :) happy with the money spent :)
