There is probably a few dealers who would pay decent cash for it ,trouble is that's now not when you eventually
get an R deal delivered and sorted

And regarding driving in the wet. The tuning box i have gives the car torque that when i put my foot down in the rain tonight i nearly ended up in the field and that was in 3rd gear. Its far to much for it. Even the remapped ed30 had less torque but i did have better tyres lol but is amazing when it is dry it feels as fast as my ed35 remapped and it was a beast

Do you have Bridgestones fitted to your MK7? I have them on my GTD and they are sh!te in the wet. I gave a tuning box a try on mine and putting your foot down in 3rd made the traction control fight back like a rabid dog. Even back on standard power the wet grip is truly crap.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I have cont 2s and they are just as bad. I had them on my ed35 as well and they were awful in the wet and after remap in the rain they were worse. I have 2 new mitchelin 3s to put on the front if i keep the car. I had them on my ed30 and they were amazing in the wet with 300bhp. The totally change the feel and drive of the car.
My mate has bridgeston on his mk6 and your right they are brutal.

I wonder what tyres come with the 19" Santiago's.
I know Michelin are very good all round tyres and would change to them in the future if the original tyres are pants.

At replacement time I always go for the Michelins (Pilot Sport 3) at Costco. They’re just under £120 fully fitted right now (18”), and if you time it right there’s usually some fuel card promotion on buying 2 or 4 tyres too. Excellent allround tyre in all weathers, long lasting. If only Michelin designed and built French cars!

However a remapped R just moves the goalposts again!

Weight wise 95kg more than a GTI PP, I nearly bench that it's not that heavy. I personally wouldn't of thought that would be felt through the car.

Go and stick the bar and barbells in the car and you will see nearly 100 kg will have a negative impact on performance, just like having passengers does.

Just had an email saying it was the underwriter that gave the price of £21000 and he agrees that the figure is far to low. So he is going to ask them to lift the price to what i have asked. He is getting back to me on friday. So we will see lol
