Hi All,
Please can someone help me, I am at a real loose end. My beloved 08 plate Golf GTI Mk5 3d 2.0L DSG has had a valve spring snap and destroy almost all the pistons and write off my engine. I am now desperately trying to find a reconditioned or second hand engine to replace mine. I am also open to the suggestions of reconditioning mine however the garage feel it would cost more than too buy a second hand engine. I've searched high and low and cant find one. its only done 50k and don't even know where I stand with VW corp, would they or should they assist me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
