Hi, can anyone put my mind at rest.
Ive only done about 5 short journeys so far in mk7golf GTD, only 60 miles on the clock. Just in from a speed legal, running in type of trip to the garage and back. The radiator kept on for several minuets and only stopped after I turned the engine over again and then promptly turned it off. Also there was an oily smell which is still there 10mins later.
No warning lights have been on, coolant and oil are at the correct levels.
Nothing obvious or flashing red at me.
Anyone got any thoughts on the matter and could help put my mind at rest before attempting to sleep ;
