Adons for firefox moves away from Google!
« on: 30 November 2013, 10:03 »
Goooogle lately have moved there search engine away from Firefox and now they use Yahoo as a default search engine!
Its pants there servers are not that great with a about a 5 year gap of missing information with crappy shopping search facilities.
Privacy reasons or Gooogle not making enough money from ad blockers and the like?

Eh?

You sure you haven't just installed something else which has defaulted the search to Yahoo! ?

That's the most likely train of events.  I certainly don't see anything in my Google results that points to a change of policy at Mozilla.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

First of all, we'd like to thank all of our loyal users of Google Toolbar for Firefox. We deeply appreciate all of the feedback over the years that helped to make the product so useful. As we all know, over the past few years, there has been a tremendous amount of innovation in the browser space. For Firefox users, many features that were once offered by Google Toolbar for Firefox are now already built right into the browser. Therefore, while Google Toolbar for Firefox works on versions up to and including Firefox 4 only, it will not be supported on Firefox 5 and future versions. Please see our Help Center for additional details.
