Driver door help!!

My driver door will not lock/unlock from the remote and when in the car it won't lock from the button inside the car It only opens manually, and sometimes the door pin doesn't come up all the way so the door don't open?

Any ideas? It's a 2002 5door

Sounds like a faulty door module. Very common problem with the MK4. It might also be worth checking the wires between the door and the chassis first that are in the rubber hoses as they are prone to splitting.

Worth checking via vag-com first to see what codes it brings up,but from your symptoms its most likely to be the door lock module
