VW Customer Services Call

Just curious has anyone else had a courtesy call from VW re their new GTI.  The chap on the phone was very interested about the delivery blocks being left in my car post PDI.

I had a call too from an Asian sounding guy asking about my new Golf.
He said "is it ok to talk or are you driving?"

I said I was driving but on hands free but he said in that case he couldn't speak to me without me pulling over - hands free was too dangerous!!

He has tried me two more times but since I'm driving I can never talk to him, what an idiot!

I've only had a call so far. Have many of you received the normal VW 10 page survey as yet?

I received a call after one month of ownership. I had a feeling it was a call with a purpose as they seemed keen to know if I had experienced any issues with my car to date...

I never received a call, and I chose to ignore the survey email on the grounds of saying something I shouldn't given the pathetic service I received from VW. Good job the car is the nuts  :laugh:

had a courtesy call last night from vw adding about the car, dealer any issues etc. told them car was the thing that saved the day on the most terrible experience buying a car ever. apology from a lovely lady on the phone which I said wasn't her fault but did ruin the buying experience. said she will pass on my comments  :whistle:
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I've a feeling I might have missed my VW CS call. Last week I just missed a call on my work phone (the contact number I always used when chasing up my car) and a colleague said "someone who sounded posh, but didn't leave a name just called and they will ring back another time".

Haven't been called back yet by whoever it was, but I suspect it was them.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....
