GTI/GTD Gear Knob....

Hi,

I have seen photo's of the GTI gear knob illuminated, is this standard?  And should the GTD gear knob light up also?

Are you sure it's no just the red LED ambient lighting in the roof console that is lighting that whole area of the center console up?

Those illuminated gear knobs are usually via eBay, tacky at best and most definitely not standard thankfully..

Ah that's what thought, it's just weird the gear knob has the masked off bit at the base (the white bit or us painted areas).  They must have gone to the effort of masking that off for some reason...

Replaces the standard one, 2 wires to connect, ill take a pic
