dreaming of a GTI MK2!

Hi,

I've had a couple of VW's before, my 1st was a  polo on a C reg (1st car and I loved it).
My second was a MK2 1.3, slow but looked the business. The 3rd and final was a MK1 GTI with a 2.0 passat conversion that very nearly killed me, I took some time off after that but I've got the bug back and I'm starting all over again !

I will tell you 1 thing pal. if you had a mk1 with a 2l engine then your going to be sorely disappointed with a standard mk2 8v. worlds apart.

I know it's not going to touch it 0-60, must be getting old!
Thinking more of a usable classic to take me to work and back on a daily basis.

It might also get a bit of a tweak, perhaps a new head from TSR or something like ?
