Just got back from ordering some parts from main dealer but while i was there i asked about this car for info going on it's reg.It was registered on 5/10/1995 but rather oddly there is no country of origin on their records.I'm just curious about it
Well something is not adding up, if it was registered / built in October 1995 it should be on a N plate, for it to be on an X plate someone had paperwork to prove it was new or manufactured in 2000.
So even if it was imported in 2000 but built in 1995 then it should be on an N plate.
I still think it is a South African car as they were built from kits of parts hence they do tend to have strange specs plus they were building them up to 2001 I believe.
I got this info from the DVLA.
