Dealer claims they were not aware this would happen!
Case raised and case manager to contact me within 48 hours.
As far as I can tell due to them not taking new orders for the camera there is one unit that was associated to my order that will gather dust in a factory corner so they had better find a way to bypass. "Computer says no" is not acceptable IMO
"As the customer has requested leather and this has now been added, they have lost the rear view camera.
As this option has been removed from ordering from 1st July, it does not exist in SLI, meaning when an order is modified with this option on, it will not let you proceed without removing it.
It has done it to me before and brings up a message but once accepted removes KA1 (The camera).
We have asked previously if this can be added back in to minimise customer dissatisfaction but unfortunately the answer is no"
