Hello,
i have noticed recently ive had a few drops of oil on the drive in the mornings before i go to work, i had a look and noticed oil all over the top of the gearbox, ive tried to follow it back and its a bit sticky oily at the top of the right side of engine ive located the half moon seal cleaned it up and drove to work, there was no oil coming from it when i got there, i looked again and found fresh oil coming from the front right like where the cam shaft tensioner is, the oil was fresh from the underside of the two torx bolts witch i think could be the tensioner seal? is it normal for it to just go like that? i also for the first time had a creamy oil cap too, im not loosing coolant,the engine isnt getting hot, the coolant isnt oily and the dipstick isnt milky either, i do need a new thermostat, could this be linked? any info would be much appreciated, thanks
