1.8T wont start
« on: 05 August 2013, 16:51 »
Well im going to put my mk4 1.8t back on the road after having had it parked up for some time, I have changed the battery and went to start it up and all it would do is turn and not firer up. I thought it could of been the fuel pump so changed it, still nothing so replaced relay, still nothing, then had some run a feed from the battery to fuel pump and she fired up. Have ran vag com and done throttle cable adjustment cleared the fault codes and re-ran it with nothing highlighted, Im starting to think it could be crankshaft sensor after having read some forums. Is there any way you can test it? Unless it could be something else?
