Colour of dashboard GTI/GTD

[GTI-Newbie]

Having looked at heaps of pix I am seeing GTIs and GTDs with black dashboards and some with greyish coloured dashboards. What's the deal with the UK cars.....are they all the same colour? If so what colour are they?

Sorry for the daft question but just can't see any consistency. The car I test drove was a GTI Tornado Red with a black dashboard.

They're all black in the uk mate but can look grey under certain lights due to the pattern on it.
