Condensation on windscreen
« on: 24 November 2013, 03:06 »
Had this in my fabia vrs but very bad this was due to a blown inner door card seal common fault that had soaked sound proofing and the floor carpet was wet no where near as bad in my gtd but a little there thought this was down to moisture in the car but i can't find any, any known water traps?Or problem areas?

Are you sure its condensation on the windscreen? The reason im asking is when they are fitted at the factory there is a layer on the screen to help the robots suckers to grip the screen. Its a grey greasy substance. Mine has it on the screen and I regular have to clean it but it comes back after a few weeks.Makes it look like your looking out into slight fog. Havent found anything to shift it fully yet.

I know the issue you mentioned about the vRS infact thats my repair  job today as my SEAT leon passenger door inner seal has just done what yours vRS did.

Mine fogs up easily at the moment. Even with the AC off. It's much worse in my mk6 than it was in my mk5.
