« on: 16 July 2013, 02:04 »
Selling my bm 120d soon as i need a dsg car,The Wife can only drive autos

Fell in love with the mk2 16v i had years ago and now want to be a petrol head again. I've trawling autotrader for the right car but want to make sure i know what I'm looking for.

Just a few questions...

Is bluetooth connect standard on Mk6? Satnav? or what is the vw option called for the phone prep/bluetooth kit ?

Parking sensors standard?

Cruise control?

Cheers for any info, really appreciated.

Mike

Hi and welcome

Bluetooth inbuilt -  only standard on later mk6s.  I got it standard on a 2012.
Sat nav - not standard
Parking sensors - not standard (they are on new mk7)
Cruise - not standard

In addition to the items above, nice extras are -  Dynaudio, parking camera, Xenon lights , LED fairy lights (only standard on later models).   Are you looking for manual or DSG?  Good luck with your search

Black Beauty: MK7 R 5dr DSG, DBP, 19" Pretoria, DCC, Vienna leather, Keyless, Dynaudio, DNS Pro, Rear camera, HBA
2012 MK6 GTI DSG
2008 MK5 GTI DSG
2005 MK5 GTI Manual

As above, none of the items on your list are standard until later cars. If you are looking at earlier cars (up to 2011) I would buy on condition/mileage/history rather than spec. Virtually every factory option can be retro fitted as funds allow.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
