8v exhaust question

I think the de-cat might but the 16v is slightly bigger diameter from the cat back compared to the 8v.

yes it will.

The 8v centre pipe reduces size. So fitting 16v from cat back is fine. And yes the decat will fit

Yes, both gti's and the vr6 shared the same exhaust mounting points. Iirc the non gti's had a different mount for the centre section
