Is it normal to cook inside the car when the hearing is completely off and vents are shut. It's boiling and havnt experienced it in any car apart from the 1.8t.
Does anybody else cook in there's lol

I'm think even though the heating is off, the temp will be whatever it was set at before turning it off,I'm sure someone will come along and confirm or correct

My previous mk4 and this one does it mate. Even tho heaters off it comes thru very slightly if you have it on full hot.

yeah mines the same, if I turn mine onto the coldest setting and aim it down at my feet, I still feel the cold air even though my fans are off! My switch only works on setting 4!

i get this in the summer, open windows, jobs a good'un
and if you have climatronics, change it to econ, ensure all directions for the vents are deselected and turn off
