ABS light and Traction control light on the dash when I jumped in the car yesterday. Scanned with vcds.. Came back with - 00283 which is the NSF speed sensor.. Rang TPS today and they want £60 for a new one. However plentyyyy on eBay for £10 upwards.. Are they just generic throughout the mk4 range? I.e... 1.4's 2.0's... Or do the 1.8T's have different ones?  :nerd:

any NSF sensor should work, the dash light will go out after a short drive if everything is okay. If not.. might need to change the loom.

Sound!! Ill give that a bash at the weekend then! Tried cleaning the plugs and sensor to no avail! So i shall replace!
