Went VW Shopping

2 Weeks ago, rang GSF up to get a price for discs/Pads (Front & Rear), Rear wheel Bearings, Clutch Kit.

I was then given a choice wether i wanted better quality stuff or cheap?, so being me i said better quality  :grin:

i was given a price of £293.03 all in,  :drool:, But the guy said we'll give you 10% off since you buying alot  :cool:

So today i went down to GSF, and was given everything at trade price. 2 Weeks ago i was told the clutch was going to be LUK and that was for £111.00, Today i got Sachs clutch kit for £77.00, also i got a new clutch cable too and i paid £262.57 for everything and i got brembo discs :laugh:

All in all been a very good day.

Gearbox has gone in for Re-con too. Car is in garage for the beam bushes to be put in and new top mounts.

Next i need to order is a set of Toyo Tyres, Then 4 wheel alignment. Joys of owning a VW  :kiss:

Everyone gets 10% at GSF.  I get it all the time even if buying something for £5.  Its standard :cool:

Yeah they just give u a card which you show to them on every purchase :cool:

Everything I've ordered from them came with a scratch card - guess what the prize was in each case - yup, 10% discount ;)

I have this card also :) this can only be used in the shop and can not be used online. but you can phone up to order your parts and show your card when you pick them up

Not sure about the price on the LUK, I picked one up last December for £86.00 at Camberleys on a trade account...? Still at your quoted its still worth the money if you ask me.
