Haha!!! had to laugh at some of these responses, don't worry stainsey, anything a bit different is going to provoke people!!! take it as a compliment that people think your sound enough not to take offence when they swear at you!!!

You need to heat it up and get it flush and then possibly somehow seal the gap. A neat bead of black silicone wouldn't look too bad from a distance. Not massively to my taste would look better with the gap all the way around but I can't see how to do it.

Yeah use cable tie or cut long thin strips of plastic from old splitter as filler rod and plastic weld it flush.

I still wont like it though  :grin:

Seen the tread with all the different splitters and it don't look no worse than some of them.
It done neatly and the reason I like it is mainly coz no one has it :grin:

There is a very good reason for that :whistle:

Yeah I did think about plastic welding it but I quite like the set back look.
Plus it would loose that textured effect and be blatantly noticeable. It looks neat and tidy the way it is. Alot of the VR splitters have a gap or bit in the middle that don't quite meet proply and that's oem.

Jeez that's low, I'd be worried about ripping it off. Defo needs some work in the middle and then it should look OK.

This could be way, way worse, you could have fitted a Vento trim in place  :sick:
