Please read need some help

Morning you lovely lot.
Im sure you have all heared the horrific incerdant that happened last uear just before xmas concerning mother of three Karina. Please if you dont know please take a read below.

She was a lovely women and my friends sister and it really shook up alm of us here in Ely. One of our main concerns was her 3 kids, what future would they have now. Thats when karinas brothers launched a trust fund to help the girls when they get older until then the two brothers would be the sole carers of the 3 girls. We have been asstonised by the help and support they have received one being from out local football team cardiff city helping them raise over 10k!!! I even managed to help abit by doing a fund raise at my shop raising money for the kids so they could have a nice xmas.

Ok now this is where i need your help. I have a friend that used to play for wales and he kindly got me a ruby ball signed by every welsh player from the welsh rugby team so i can sell to raise money for the girls trust fund. My problem is i dont have the first idea where to start or an expection of how much this should get, anyone able to shed sone loght for me please? :)

contact your local radio station they will give you some publicity free  :smiley:

publicity and lots of it. approach radio, local papers, lots of internets. The sales pitch needs to be inspirational to others. you need to hit people right in the feels. Maybe some photo's and video footage would help too. As much coverage as you can get!

Rugby players have "Testimonials" do some homework, and find out if any of the players, that have autographed the ball, have a testimonial coming up, they are normally high profile players, that will have an evening dedicated to them, in their honor. The ball would be raffled off at this event, and is likely to reach a price far outweighing what it would make on ebay..
Also get in touch with the chosen club, and put a good case forward, as to how they might be able to do some sort of annual fund raising event for the children's trust
