A GTI without tartan is no GTI

I can't remember the price, but isn't it close to £1,700?  So, classic tartan seats with DCC and PP, or dull, cold/sticky leather!  Hmmm...

Pure White Mk7 GTI (5dr, Manual)

Options: Reverse Camera, Keyless, Adaptive Chasis, Climate Screen, Winter Pack, Discover Nav, Advanced Phone Prep

To be honest, I can't say I'm a big fan of the 'classic' tartan feature that emblazons the GTi brand. It looks a tad dated and ripe for a Saga Tours Coach Trip, All things said, a great looking car, and one I can't wait to get my hands on!
On order: Mk VII Golf GTi 2.0 TSi 220PS 3dr Man, 18" Austin, Deep Black Pearl, Customised Black & Red Leather.

Driving: Scirocco R-Line 2.0 TSI 210PS 6spd Man, 19" Lugano, Oryx White, Truffle Vienna Leather

Morning,

I just noticed you have put customised red and black leather and it looks like your in Bristol.
I'm considering getting cloth and then having it trimmed in leather.

How are you getting yours done and at what cost?

Thanks

The sales rep at VW recommended a company from the North of England to carry out the refit. It will arrive at the dealership with the standard cloth seats; they will arrange for it to be sent north, stripped and fitted with the black and red leather. It should add an extra 2 weeks to our collection date. The cost is around £300 on top of the cost of the black vienna leather as quoted by VW (£1675).

I can't remember the name of the company, but the rep was very enthusiastic about them!

The design is based on the seats of the retro special edition 'Beetle cabriolet 50s'
