212bhp?  Stock turbo on AGU?

Could be signs of a weak fuel pump maybe?  Lean misfire.

No its had no diesel in it mate I thought of that as her indoors uses it more than me but she assures me she hasn't and mechanic has said it would smoke so I've taken this out of the equation as for fuel pump it could be that it's about the only thing I haven't tried yet my mechanic still hasn't changed the TB but has said he cleaned old throttle body and it ran spot on he tried it again the next day and it played up again so until he tries another clean TB I won't know but I will suggest the fuel pump to him and see what he says thanks for all your input fellas it is appreciated

Getting there cleaned throttle body and sensor both filthy car is now 98% better doesn't smell of petrol anymore but think this is because the hole in the intercooler pipe that had rubbed through whilst rubbing bulk head is now fixed but she seems a little bumpy when you lift of the throttle and it wouldn't let me accelerate to boost without a couple off blips on throttle after sitting at traffic lights for a while so think this could be caused by lazy pump as suggested but I'm nearly there now drove 40miles today and didn't miss a beat  thanks again guys for all suggestions really has helped me out
