Date & Time
« on: 11 April 2013, 23:47 »
It's only really just dawned on me that the Golf doesn't have a date feature like most cars do.  :embarrassed:

I find it strange that it has a temperature feature & obviously a clock but no date?

Is there something I'm missing or is there simply no option for a date setting change?

No, there is no date display.

One thing that has always bugged me , is why do we have to set the time ourselves? With RDS/DAB radios and GPS, there is no reason why it couldn't show us the correct time itself. Mother-in-law used to have an old Vectra in 1999. That had an RDS clock that would change when the clocks changed, also when you got off the train in Calais, it would know.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

This bugs me too - you'd have thought this rather basic function would have been enabled.
