oh dear rich, not a good start at all ! although they are known for dying.. the first signs are things like doors unlocking themselves when using the button on the drivers door, or the alarm not arming with one press of the fob.

No, not a good start. My mate at GSF told me that he has heard that a few of these are starting to fail. Still, my insurance cover note hasn't arrived yet so I can't tax/drive it yet anyway. New door latch and metal window kit comes tomorrow so should be up and running soon. If thats all that goes wrong then I'll be happy
Can then concentrate on clearing out the garden, starting with the mk2
