Been painting my mirror covers over the past few days , and came out really well.
was looking a bit sorry for itself to begin with

used a scotchbrite pad to key it , then a few coats of primer 15 mins apart. Then 2 hours to dry , flat down with 600 grit.
After that I appled a few colour coats , 15 mins apart, then waited 30 mins and applied a light coat of lacquer. After 15-20 mins I applied a wet coat of lacquer being careful to avoid runs.
I was left with this :

I let that dry for 24hrs then tonight I gently flatted with 2000 and polished with some g3 and a mirofibre cloth by hand :

Still a bit orange peely but im well chuffed with the results :thumb:
