Thought I'd introduce myself and my car(s) on here.
I'm a member on a few other forums but just recently picked myself up a Gti
Names Dale, I'm 18 and live just outside of Newcastle.
Currently got a W reg Mk4 Gti 1.8T with the ARZ engine, 95k on the clocks with FSH, runs sweet.
Had 4 cars within 6 months, since my first car, had a '97 Seat Arosa 1.4 which lasted about 2 weeks, then a '03 Mk4 1.4 (which I still own) lovely car just very slow, heavy car with small enigine, then bought a '98 mk4 1.6 as a project, but decided to sell it on when I spotted the 1.8T, so already had a few golfs, hopefully this one will last me longer than 2 months! Hah
Said to myself when I bought this one I wasn't going to mod it but that went out the window after about 3 days hah
done the mk5 rear wiper, TT pedals, chrome light switch, also just bought a double din headunit and bora sport clocks which I haven't fitted yet. Also have some white s3 recaros which are still in the 1.4 at the mo, still deciding whether to fit them in the Gti as it already has recaros which I think are more comfortable. Still got plenty more planned for it, think next may have to be lowering, BUT anyway
