been reading that people have done it with out removing the lines.

Had mine off a few times,you may need to bend your lines slightly then remove it to the right.

iive bent them and its droped a bit but i feel like im guna brake the lines if i bend them any more. how much can you bend them? are they stronger than im thinking??

Yes mate they will take a lot to actually break one just make sure you don't kink them that's all.

No probs mate ,good luck getting the lid off ,I tried it on a spare one and kind of wrecked it a bit
