has happened a few times now, will be driving fine and then all of a sudden the car loses power and sounds more like a subaru with a double header (gurgling) best way to describe it soz.
turbo seems to spool up fine as i can hear it whining.
checked for boost leaks while the problem was there and couldnt find any however i have came to the following conclusion.
my exhaust isnt attached to the centre mounts correctly so what i think is happening is that with all the vibrations etc it could be putting a strain on the turbo/downpipe connection and maybe causing it to leak, ( could this cause symptoms mentioned).
also the gurgling seems to come more from the front, was maybe thinking intake manifold, any ideas other than to get a smoke test for leaks , thanks
