Photos you don't like, but other people seem to love
« on: 22 December 2012, 15:43 »
On Thursday nights I often go off with my mate Allan and we shoot some night images.  It's a bit of fun and the shots are normally quite cool.

Last Thursday I didn't have my remote shutter and I had a crappy tripod, not the normal sturdy one I have.  I got this:

Which I didn't really think was that good, but people seem to be loving in a Faceplank group I'm in.

I'd be interested to know why you like the above image, if you do.

What images have you taken, which you've given a dose of 'meh' to but other people seem to love?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

I like the sky and silhouetted shape of the land, but I'm not sure about the sea at the bottom of the image.

Here's my most popular photo from Flickr with 470 all time views, but it's not particularly interesting.

i like the subtle colours and the way they merge together but i wouldnt say it was stunning. The groin in the corner would have made a nice lead in point with a slow shutter speed giving the water a soft look.
