Another starting problem.
« on: 23 November 2012, 17:51 »
Hi guys & girls! I've searched the World Wide Web for any help but can't find anything. It's recently been throwing it down with rain! I went through a puddle and started loosing power through all gears & started spitting flames out the exhaust with an almighty bang! And then stalled, it started 15 minutes later but if I accelerated to hard or went over 2000RPM it would judder & missfire. I managed to get it home, I left it over night and got a ignition coil through work. Swapped it over and nothing. No spark. Any help would be apriciated! It a 88 valver.

Is there moisture/water in the dizzy cap? try replacing it or try drying and then cleaning the contacts
