Its got tax n mot till march thats why i bought it. That and the ridiculously low price £380. Ive already driven it oven 400 miles trouble free. The only things gone wrong is the rear electric window regulator and the glove box handle. Although until i get work done im still scared itll break at any second

Its got mot till march. One of the reasons i bought it. Im looking at sourcing parts to give a local garage to fit for me but i would like to do safe jobs i cant screw up myself. But the centre caps n windscreen wipers is all ive done so far  i have changed alternator belts, b pads n exhausts before at a night course on a previous car but without the ramp and supervision im not sure what i can acieve. Ive done 400 miles in it trouble free so far but id like to slowly work my way around everything replacing all i can so its got the personal touch n i have piece of mind. I need a list of things an idiot csn do lol

If you've changed brake pads before you can do front brakes on a Mk3 ;)

Oil, coolant, sparks etc are all so simple...

Only cambelt I would get done, the rest you can easily do yourself I think. If you got any doubts just pick up 2nd hand haynes of ebay for 5£ ;)

Haynes manual and a trip round the old mans on sunday it is then. Stoppibg that rattling sound as i accellerate would be a good start, i think cable ties on the loose back box heat shield should do the trick?
