Just a quick question does the monitor or tv u use effect the record quality of a security camera?? As i have a cctv camera wired to recorder which is conecte to a crappy ancient 5 quid 13" tv?? The quality is crap i gotta say. Im going to get a propa night vision camera and was thinking would it be good to get a proper quality small monitor too.

No doesn't make a difference to the record quality, its just how you are looking at it.

The quality depends on the camera spec and DVR capability.

Fixes lens vandal proof IR domes start at about £25 ish upwards.

A half decent dome camera with say 520 TVL & 20m IR Range will set you back about £60 + VAT.
