Spot on toph, slipped a bit of lube in there and she was purring like a kitten within minutes!!!

result!

i had the exact same problem with my valver last year.. i now have the shiniest solenoid connector in the world.. properly soaked it in wd40 to keep moisture off too :)
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

mine requied a new 2nd hand starter
and a fully charged batterey

then it fired
