A bit of black smoke is normal but a big cloud when you put your foot down sounds like oil is getting into the engine somewhere! Are you losing much oil?

2 things, clean the turbo and/or fitted an EGR delete pipe, it sounds like the maps a bit too aggressive tbh but the afore mentioned issues will calm it down somewhat, what engine is it as i've never heard of a map taking even a 150 tdi to 200 just off the map

Sounds very aggressive to me or you could have a small boost or vacuum leak

You'll get a small amount as you load the car up, but then it should clear up as you move through the rev range.

Most 150's map to approx 190bhp.......

Who was it mapped by? Sounds like all they have done is turn the fuel up.

FYI - black smoke = fuel, white smoke = timing or boost issue, bluey smoke = oil.
