Another Central Locking issue on my MK3 TDI
« on: 04 October 2012, 14:17 »
Hi guys, I am getting a bit fed up of the locking on my MK3 golf. I have had to repair the door locks both sides twice, and last week my locking failed completly and took out a fuse, as my interior lights went and guages went a bit funky!

Today its gone again, both drivers and passenger door locks are not operating the central locking, which could be a problem as my fuel cap is now locked and i need to get fuel on way home from work!! All fues are okay so no idea what the problem is, at a guess I would say the pump, any ideas anyone?

Also where is the pump located as I cant seem to find it?

Thanks Guys

Pump is located under the o/s rear light.

Sounds like a pump problem if the fuse blew.
