hi after help for my brother law golf he carnt get into it pull catch bonnent pop's up but that black thing you pull wont move any other way to get in?

Happened to me last weekend. Get under there with a torch and 'work' out the mechanism by poking with a screw driver etc.

If I remember rightly, you want to push on a little flange on one of the left hand hoooks forward sharply to pop the hood. Then when it open just give it a real good spray with some WD40 and operate it by hand loads...That freed up mine
