An 87 Mk2 Valver that's not pulling as i reckon it should be......

Howdy all

To my knowledge it's had polished and ported head, kent cams, k&N filter, Vernier Induction Kit, Full Magnex system.

But it still doesn't feel as though it's running right. When foot to the floor (on motorway) it doesn't seem to pull as good as when I have my foot 3/4 of the way down.....any clues? Too much fuel? Need rolling roaded again? (been years since last one I reckon)

I reckon that it just needs to be rolling roaded again and that should sort out any probs, any ideas?

marcogolf - have a look at TSR's website to name but one. The mods were done previous to me buying it, but Kent cam kits are approx 250ish, I believe. Have a look around on the web......

just make sure you take it to somebody who understands mk2 16v lumps! ask before booking anything, or look in the back of Performance VW or Golf + mags for places local to you
