20v t info in a 1.8 carb

Hi just about to do my first mk1 conversion using a agu engine code from a mk4 gti and the car is a 1.8 carb I cant seem to find much informatiin on the fueling side of it can i just change the fuel pump to a gti one ? Anyone have any links ir build threads with details would be good Cheers

I've seen conversions done with standard mk1 GTI fuel pump for K-jet and have read that it's fine to use a K-jet pump for applications up to 400bhp.

Note that MK1 GTI pump is located outside of the tank with an accumulator.
