Trust me...Hammerite Hammered Black. I just checked the tin.
It's very close and needs no primer etc.

I'm just away to move house in the next couple of weeks - so my wheels are currently at work hidden in storage bags!  I was going to wait until I moved before getting them touched up as I'll have to remove them from work then.  There are a couple of small marks... but the face of the wheel is immaculate.

I'm away offshore tomorrow anyway...but give me a bell when you have a spare hour and pop out if you want them touching in, and you don't want to buy a full tin for a couple of small chips.

Care to share what sort of insurance quotes your getting?

I have the car insured for other drivers at the mo, but obviously not with me driving.
I don't actually know what it's going to cost to re-add me onto my own policy as a 'new' driver.
I'll find out in a couple of months.
I'm sure it will start with a '1' and have at least three other numbers after it.

Yeah your probably right but at least your be back behind the wheel
