I know 2 people with these on and having been in their cars they are incredible in the wet and great value for money, but don't last for a great amount of miles.

i've had pilot sport 3s before, because they were rated higher than the continental sport contact 3s on tyrereviews.co.uk.

they're great, but imo, they're not worth the extra money you pay over uniroyal rainsports.

what it was side walls were to soft car felt dangerous 60mph up, got them swopped to conti's all cool. Even tyre man said there just cheap tyres.

you also get that with stetch though thats why its highly recommended not to stretch if your a bit of a racer lol i think you could get away with a 45 profile and not a 40? correct me if i got that wrong though. stiffer walls mean better handling and cornering, definatly noticed when i tried out my mates one 18's and stretched like a condom, no hard cornering as it felt like the tires would ping off or role onto the rims  :undecided: though come to think of it, it could just be that the only mod he had were the wheels and the spacers

Great tyre.

Took 250bhp through 2 of them perfectly fine and stuck well to the road.  Good in the wet aswell.  Id recommend them.
