Quick answer on a Part number for a steering rack

oks i had my remanufaterd steering rack trun it but think its wrong for my golf the part number on the rack is 1j2 422 105    DE

 

can anyone tell me it this will fit my Mk4 golf TDi [AGR] ??

Pretty sure all racks are the same apart from the R32 racks :undecided:

All golf / bora racks are 3.5 turns lock to lock, apart from the R32 rack which is 2.7 turns lock to lock.

Golf/leon/A3/bora and possibly octavia all share the same 3.5 turn rack

S3/TT225/LCR/R32 all have the same quick rack which is a decent upgrade on the above :)

sweet think mines got the R rack fitted cause its only just over 2.5 turns. i thought that was standard :D
