if you get a complete vr you would use the brakes of that , if not the mk2 16v ,g60 are a simple opp.

The mk2 is already a 1.8 gti 16v . So will them breaks be sufficient enough. ?

some would say no but if thay are already there i would try them maybe uprate the discs and pads.depends on how much stick you plan on giving it

I plan on giving it some right stick . No point in doing the conversion if not lol.

i would go with the vr brakes then as i think they are the best ones for the money.
