Thumbs up for Elephant
« on: 23 July 2012, 15:39 »
Insurance was up for renewal this month so I started shopping around.  29 years old, 9 years no claims protected.  3 expired points and one accident last year.

Cheapest quote I could find fully comp was about £580, I can't rememebr the name of the company.  Did another search and got a quote of £472 TPFT.  I figured I'd go for that as the mk4 isn't worth much any more and I don't want to go wasting money on insurance.

Got my renewal notice through from Elephant.  I wasn't expecting much as it came to £680 the year before.

£460 fully comp!  Result!  Didn't even need to bother haggling, they were the cheapest by a long short fully comp.  £200 decrease with nothing changing other than me being a year older is brilliant :afro:

Might be worth people giving them a try.
